JOB FAIR - September 16, 2025 (Tuesday) - 11 am to 1 pm
Come join other community members to shop the annual Ladies in Blue Clothing Closet, a free clothing event. The Ladies in Blue Clothing Closet was founded in 2019 by a group of local female police officers looking to give back to their communities. This clothing closet has grown from an at home clothing swap in 2015 to a full-blown free clothing event!
“It totally runs at a deeper level. I absolutely love how you are adding meaning into the event! All those FEELS- it’s unique, and empowering, and soooo much positivity!!!! I LOVE it!!”

“We are thrilled to host the Ladies in Blue Clothing Closet at the Beaverton Resource Center. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and provide much-needed support to individuals and families. We are proud to be part of such an impactful event that promotes dignity and care for all who attend.” – Beaverton Resource Center
The Ladies in Blue began in 2015 when Officer Michel Wilson hosted a clothing exchange for women connected to law enforcement, which grew into a formal clothing closet in 2019. The group now provides free professional and casual clothing to hundreds of women and girls at annual events, supported by donations from law enforcement families and local businesses. Remaining clothing is donated to local charities, and the Beaverton Police Department provides storage space for donations. In 2024, they will host their event in October and have also started an emergency clothing closet to support individuals affected by crime or trauma.
